UL winds are now blowing from the SE to NW over the LLC at 20 to 30 knots.
All due to the system to the east.
Not due to the shear to the NW.
However, there seems some high cumulus nimbus firing up.
Also have to remember this is at dirunal minimum where the sun has heated the upper troposphere to its max temp for the day.
That in turn will lead to a drop off in convection for the next 6 to 12 hours..
