Concerning the oil interfering with evaporation from the warm water and thus inhibiting storm streagthening,we only need to monitor dew point temperatures over the Gulf to know if that is likely to happen.So far I do not believe anyone has seen any evidence of lower than normal dptS over the gulf nor on shore for that matter either. |
