The Shear Question

OK, so it looks like the anti-cyclone is to the NW of the LLC and CIMSS has shear about 15 to 20 knots.
Derived Satellite shear data is not all that accurate.
SHIPS has shear at 12 knots. AMSU at about 7 knots.
Really need a good look at visible satellite to determine what the cirrus canopy looks like.
