He does talk of a northern turn but he also expects that to be followed by a more westward turn thereafter and characterizes any NNW motion that may ensue as "short term."

Still seems the more westward models are verifying but the chips all fall on Alex's intensity versus the strength of the steering ridge. It's like two cars playing chicken at 90 mph on the interstate--let's see who sweats first.
