| Inlook for another shift north in models in the morning. I am still sticking with Port Lavaca as landfall but we need to Dee how long this moves north and how fast it intensifies. The stall for a half a day was unexpected and there could be one or two tricks up his sleeve. Here in Beaumont I still say 35-50 mph on Wed/ thurday ( landfall) 4 to 12 inches of rain through Sat. I am still liking CMC as the model of choice right now. Also, cat 2 at landfall. This could reach the size of Ike before landfall. |
