Currently the effects of land interaction from Hispaniola is holding back convection.
This is due to the fact that the land has cooled over night and the surrounding air has stabilized.
Since, cloud cover is intermittant; solar heating will heat up Hispaniola this afternoon and destabilze the air.
RUC is forecasting CAPE around 3500 and theat-e increasing significantly.
