Conditions are in fact beginning to improve now as the TUTT moves west and begins to shrink some in the process. Upper level high pressure will expand and strengthen to the right of the TUTT. A tropical depression should be forming in the Bahamas off the SE Fl Coast (I agree). However, I don't look for a big take-off in development right away, but say in 48-72 hours as the system moves into the SE GOM---conditions could get markedly better for intensification (I think).
