I haven't seen the GFDL spin up a system like this so far this season. If this would pan out it would be a big surprise to many - except those of us that follow these things from the beginning. For comparison, HWRF doesn't like it anywhere near as much. It's still very early in the game with this one. We'll have to see how repeatable the model runs are.  |
