It is not all humans putting data in,balloons go up & gather contions in the upper levels from numerous places around the globe & that data goes into models. Dr Gray is the one that constantly slams models because he does not like what they say about global warming when he is really talking about very long range models. The short range global models are pretty good at 3 to 5 days out as we have seen so far this year. If you paid attention to this board as your source for model data you would think they were horrible based on all of the wishcasting that goes on here. I think most people think that models are supposed to be dead on with track & intensity the group of models as a whole does very good. Stop focusing on just the GFDL & CMC & you will see. |
