The models have not done well with this storm overall, though in the past several days there has been a lot more consistency in regards to the turn.
Here is one model, the GFDL, and all of its runs since Earl became a hurricane. The models were really doing poorly prior to this.

The runs continued shifting westward but then in the past several days got a little more consistent. The current GFDL is about in the middle of the more tightly grouped runs. |
