He probably knows and just wants to show them all. I guess I should make some of that clearer. I was going to do more with the Flash diagrams but that is on my long list. I will probably eventually create diagrams through just 5 days as well. The error beyond 5 days can make the chart go really off.
I have made some changes to the error feature if you have noticed when it comes to intensity error. I hide some models if the zero hour error is within 10 knots. I just picked it at random. It can be adjusted. I felt it was good to hide some of the models that are bad at the initial intensity. If they are really bad, it might mean they are not designed to forecast the max intensity. The GFS ensemble members are like that. I'm not sure if it is because of global models resolution or some other reason. I'll probably do the same thing eventually on the wind and maybe even pressure diagrams. |
