Emerald Isle is not far from Cape Lookout in Morehead. It's cloudy here, but pleasant, and folks are busy securing outside property, etc... There's just a minute bit of wind happening right now. I'm off to help clear the yard.
The police are riding around with sirens to alert folks to evacuate. Some are--most locals aren't, us included.
