This storm is not over by a long shot. I think even tonight it can intensify once again seeing it will be over the warm gulf stream. I don't think the dry air will slow down Earl's strength for long, it hasn't in the past. This storm has a few more tricks to pull on us. I don't see anything at the near future that will turn earl east. The trough is still a long way off. I think at this point Earl is just wobbling west to north and will do so until the trough or something else moves it. This is a strong and dangerous storm that has a long way to go. Earl may make it's first landfall on the outer banks of NC.
