Yes it is.Who ever made the decision must have listened to the media and not the NHC ,local NWS,or Hurricanecity :)
I could see if they called in 100 out of state crews and had others on stand by,but to have 1600 utilitiy workers here when no one was calling for a direct hit!! If we do get hit this year I wonder how they will handel it??
I remember back in 1985 when Gloria hit the head of LIPA(then LILCO) was on vacation down in the Caribbean and did not cut his vacation short while most of Long Island was without power |
