I am looking at the Phase Models.

For example CMC has current cyclones as black and forecasted cyclones as red.

25 is Matthew.  Click on it and it ends Sunday.

A new one, number 121, is forecast to spin up Tuesday

I am not saying they are not unrelated.

In fact it could be a complex redevelopment of Matthew.

Maybe a weak low pressure or surface trough remains with a developing UL High.

Pretty much all the other Phase Models are doing the same.
