Thanks for the reminder. The system does run all the time, updating every 10 minutes even in the winter for winter storm missions, but I'll set it to update a little more frequently for it.

The hurricane hunters do winter missions. We informally call them the hurricane hunters but they do other missions too. I'm not sure how much else the Air Force does, but I know NOAA does a lot of year round stuff. The Air Force did some winter missions earlier this year and has for at least the past several years. I didn't track data in real time before that.
