Bloomberg only cares about Manhattan,he fogets he has 4 other bouroughs to worry about.Alot of streets in Brooklyn,Queens,Bronx,Staten Island have not been plowed.Here at work im not going into Queens,and Brooklyn for deliveries today because roads are so bad.A Co workers brother who works for pepsi said 90 percent of the truck retuned to the warehouse because the can not get down the streets.
The Island is not bad,sounds like all streets have been plowed
Im telling you,when We get a hurricane here(especially if it hits right near NYC) not gonna be a pretty site.we have been tested this year with the nor'easter back in March that knocked many trees and power lines down.People were without power for more the a week because we did not have enough resources to handle all the outages and did not get outside help until 2 days after the storm.the 911 systems could not handle all the calls,etc,etc,etc
then you had the 2 Tornadoes in queens thta took a while to clean up,and get power back to all.And now this past blizzard..The city and Island are not prepared for major disasters!!gonna be a mess when a hurricane hits!!! |
