Jac that is one nasty storm CIMSS has it going up to 115 kts above Luzon Province, Philippines.

Yes this old but it seems to be newer than your track and it shows "Songda" heading closer to the Luzon Province, Phillippines, yes it shows it starting to curve north. It might hit the Luzon province, it might curve away as you suggested.
