Amazingly GFS is more aggressive than CMC.
Looks like a broad anti-cyclone is forecast over this by mid-week.
Actually, the equator-ward outflow channel could help to crank this.
FIM is showing good latent heat flux as this works across from the W. Carib into the BOC.
Nice 340K PV anomaly ahead of the wave once in the BOC.
Only issue I see at this point is CAPE is rather weak.
I think if the models start latching onto a higher CAPE forecast they will spin it up as a deep warm core.
Could entirely be possible since the air is getting juicy.
I saw RUC showing some 6000 CAPE bulls-eye's currently in the GOM.
Good chance later model runs will be more aggressive.
