And as you can see below, wind shear also is forecast to lessen. But I would take this forecast with a grain of salt because shear has been howling across the Carib. as it typically does in the first half of the hurricane season, and I wouldn't be surprised if it stuck around longer than the below forecast suggests it will.

And we do still have that huge swathe of extremely dry air to consider. It's enough to choke the life out of a hurricane, no less a mildly promising tropical wave.
