Pacific activity

Hanna,  I have to confess that the Pacific storms do not hold my attention (even though you and other members of CaneTalk like to watch them).  Living full time on the coastal Big Bend of Florida makes it necessary for me to be very aware of Atlantic/Caribbean/Gulf storms.  While the decision to retire in this place was probably not a wise one, facing the possibility of a hurricane seriously impacting my life is a reality that cannot be avoided.  I have learned a lot from the posters on this forum and am grateful for all the knowledgeable members who take the time to provide information and patiently answer questions when asked.  As we head into the most active part of the hurricane season, my eyes look toward the East.
