I'm not going to predict that the US is going to be spared of hurricanes this year, but I will say it seems that the weather pattern seems to be set up in that way with the bermuda high sitting where it is.  I had stated earlier in the season that the wather patterns seem to be realative simliar to those of  thw winters of 1992 and 1994 and the Spring and summers of 1993 and 1995, not saying that hurricane wise we will not see alot of activeity, i've sure the activity we are seeing is that closely to 1995 as Bobbi had pointed out.  here is a picture of the hurricanes of 1995.

now here is 1993

Not a very active year and only one US landfall which was a TS in TX.  Whereas in 1995 there were 5 TC that hit the US mainland, 2 of them which hit twice.

Suprisingly on the 1995 map the F storm that is now to come up formed  where our current invests are now located at, just a matter of which one.

But again as you can see alot of the TC did recurve out to sea in 1995.  Not trying to prove a point, just stateing similiar weather patterns, that's all.
