Watch out Fla

Keep us on top of this Jake, nice stuff!

Jim's update is confirming what I've been seeing.  The models have been very tight and clustered on a track that will affect Florida in some way.  Even If Irene misses Florida to the left, that track has the potential for some serious surge in SW Florida.  What I have always been concerned with is a storm that rides the coast or just off it while running to the NW.  SW Florida is very low so a sustained surge could wreak havoc for everyone from Everglades City to Tampa.

That's "IF" she ever forms...

Come on Irene....

Just to get the song in yer head ;)
