Nobody really knows because we don't know what's going to be left of this thing off of Hispanola. If the DR weakens this thing a lot, it becomes more unpredictable. Weak storms tend to have a mind of their own. Georges in '98 is a perfect example. This thing was supposed to turn more north, took a ride through the mountains and kept trucking west and then once it got stronger, turned more to the north towards Louisiana.
Right now I don't trust any models after Hispanola because the center could very likely be ripped apart, and a new one could form somewhere. |
