Irene getting ready for a bottom out night?

The reds and deep reds have really expanded in the past few hours.  Water temps go deep and are ample to make this storm as big as she wants to be.

I'm looking to wake up to a hurricane that is a major in the morning and grabbing headlines.

Good outflow almost in all 4 quadrants now.  Trough is not producing any shear.  Good anti-cyclone.

My prediction just on intensity:  140 mph and 940s pressure.

Worst case, if GFDL pans out, and it really hits a hot patch at the perfect time:  165 mph with a 910s pressure.

Irene is the first storm in a long while that should be able to dictate how strong she gets in the time she has left before other influences impede her strengthening.

Water north of Jacksonville drops off in temp and those temps are not as deep.
