Maybe IKE is done more of as a post mortem at this time?  (no pun intended) It seems to me that the potential of a storm over warmer water would be greater when it is over warmer water.  Maybe the storm will stall over increasingly colder water.  Or it will come ashore.  The damage should be measured by the storm surge.  One cubic yard of water is something like a ton of mass (I think I recall that measurement, if people want to correct it, thank you).  

Maybe people should think about how they would fare pushing against a bull dozer.
