Let me wade in on the cooking! In Raleigh, we are, thankfully, mostly not affected. I for one, am glad to be cooking inside-- it means it wasn't so bad. only short periods of power out.
Limbs and branches and some small trees down all around. Can't see the driveway for leaves.
Nothing of interest to report. :):) And happy it is so!
We are getting stronger winds now-- as you may have noted, Wilson-- about 40 miles from here-- had 60 mph. It's just one of the bands.
Hope we can send our good luck "upstream" to the rest of the East Coast! |
