Male and Female boater plus one very mad, wet cat are safe. Boat is toast. Intermittent rain and wind. We have had around 187,000 out of power, amazed we still are on. Now steady at out of NE at 30, gust to 48. Storm is still about 8+ hours away.
They are getting worried about the surge in some local rivers...the heights, with the monthly high tide, may be record setting. The amount of rain is incredible...almost 12 in so far and we have a lot of storm left. Old Dominion University in Norfolk is reporting 23 in of rain...that cannot be correct and a rain rate of 3.2in/hr.
