Flooding problem and levee probs in store for NO?

| Even the 'official' NHC track has it doing a loop right off of NO. Couldn't that spell big problems for the levee system and Lake Pon? It seem like that right front quadrant is going to be sitting over nice warm water and spinning a long time in almost the same location...pushing water up the Miss and local tributaries. It is one thing to have a hit in NO and then it's over, it's another to have aTS or hurricane sit just offshore and beat you to death over an extended period of time. |
