| I was expecting another Allison with Lee but thusfar I don't think he compares for my area (Ascension Parish). Allison was further west and maybe that made the difference. We had TS force winds in a bad rain band last night. It did knock down some weak trees and there are limbs down. The rain although heavy at times has more dry periods than during Allison thusfar. I had expected to flood from this event but as it looks may come through if Lee remains this dry. The river I live on the Amite is still within its banks. That will change but I'm not sure how high it will get. Ready for Lee to make his exit. |
