possibly the problem is it has no real center to track
ive been following this wave since it rolled off of Africa
still can't figure out where it's center is... oh it doesn't have one...it's a wave
that said, cannot see why they refuse to give it a yellow circle
looking at the page on the NHC it's very confusing
when there is nothing...ZERO it says "NO TROPICAL CYCLONES AT THIS TIME"
when there is a yellow circle it doesn't say that
now..............a yellow circle with a ZERO chance or 10% chance of development is NOT "a tropical cyclone" it's an area to watch...
Seems a sort of disconnect with the true purpose of a "yellow circle" which I define as an area of tropical weather and given a % number by the NHC of it's chances of developing INTO a "TROPICAL CYCLONE"
I do not expect every yellow to pop and get a name.....
If I am a bit confused, imagine how the "general public" must be confused http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/tatl/flash-avn.html |
