That makes a lot of sense. Jim has had his eye on those low-level winds all along and was watching for the LLC to outrun convection, which has happened several times over the course of Ernie's journey now. Conditions just generally look tough across the basin at the moment--lots of dry air, shear and ULLs. Overall environment seems a bit less favorable for this time of year than I would expect. |
