Everything is very unpredictable right now. I will not begin taking the models seriously until after this thing clears Cuba. The reason is we don't know how much land interaction it will encounter, and when it goes through Cuba and some of the DR, how much that will take out of it?
A weaker storm could cause this thing to steer more westerly. A stonger storm vice versa. A lot of variables with systems that are in this neck of the woods and are expected to make turns down the road. They're hard to figure out.
My best guess? I think this thing goes through the Keys and heads in the vicinity of Mobile. |
