| I wasn't here for the '04 storms as I was on deployment on the JFK, but we on the ship were kept posted on the conditions in Fl by the CO. Hubby told me all that Jax got was wind and rain. '05 in Jax I was pregnant with my 1st child and boy when the one that came ashore in Mayport as a TS...dumpped alot of rain on us. I will definately not forget TS Fay in '08 when we got dumped on again with a TS land falling in Fl 3 times....'06 I missed Ernesto hitting GTMO cuba as I was prepping for deployment to there on the west coast. |
