I concur with you Beachman.  I have been watching the GFDL suite the whole time and it has been consistant.   Isaac is going to slow because of the tug-a-war between two highs and a trough in the middle.  THe GFS is forcasting the left high to swing over the Oklahoma and Arkansas into the mid-west....  this will all but stop Isaac's forward northward or NW progress.  I believe Isaac will get to the middle coast of LA. or western La and stall.  Many days of rain for La. and may slip into Texas..for sure in middle East Texas/La.
