That is cool. Oh the other hand, it is very dangerous. So sad that people refuse to evacuate when it is safe to do so, and then expect rescuers to risk their lives to rescue them.
We see so many heroes in situations like this, but good grief, there sure are a lot of foolish people too.
IMO, localities should restrict the emergency people from going out until the winds are below a certain level. No one can afford to lose their emergency people and their equipment in times like these.
Finally, people that stayed and were scared to death before rescue should be freely and frequently interviewed on TV. I love to hear the phrase....'next time, I am leaving'!
