To break a record that's been held for 99 years (1914) since the last time the Atlantic season had no hurricanes would be awesome to have happen, but I think cypresstx is going to be right. The NHC is now forecasting an 81% chance that Humberto will become a hurricane by Wednesday if not tomorrow with possibility of reaching 100 MPH maximum sustained winds.
