HGX mentioned it this morning but doesn't sound worried

HGX

MORNING SFC ANALYSIS HAS BROAD SFC LOW IN FAR OFFSHORE WATERS OF NW GULF. WATER VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWS QUITE A BIT OF DRY AIR AROUND THE LOW WITH THE TROUGH AXIS SHEARING OUT ALONG THE N GULF. ALL THAT MEANS IS THAT THIS SYSTEM SHOULD NOT TAKE ON ANY TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS BUT MAY BE A NUSENCE FOR THE MARINE WATERS THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

WPC (love the normal text)

The southern part of the cold front that progressed across the Eastern U.S. on Saturday is forecast to stall near the Gulf Coast on Sunday and into Monday.  A wave of low pressure on this front over the northern Gulf will help to focus moisture near this front and result in numerous showers and storms from southern Louisiana to the Florida peninsula.

NHC

A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS LOCATED A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES EAST OF BROWNSVILLE TEXAS.  UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE NOT CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT...AND THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO DRIFT NORTHEASTWARD AND MERGE WITH A FRONTAL ZONE DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.  THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS...AND A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 5 DAYS.
