I'm kind of surprised that the GFS is not making more of things behind 93L. It did a few days ago, even taking one into the Gulf, but at the moment it doesn't develop anything else sixteen days out as of the 18Z run.

The center of 93L has definitely become clear. I am surprised that the chances of development were not increased even more than they were through 48 hours, although the 8pm outlook came out early, so it didn't look quite as good then perhaps.
