At 8am the NHC said it had moved inland near Tampico. I don't know if it has a well defined LLC though. (maybe it has multiple vortexes) The higher convection is getting sheared so maybe the convection is getting sheared way off rather than any possible LLC still over water. The mid level circulation might be the only thing still over water.
