| I wonder if that has to do with the fact that the storm may not be stacked all that well. The surface low continues to largely be out ahead of most of the convection while a mid-level low appears to be lagging behind it. So they are seeing winds with the surface low but the higher up they go there is much "there" there to quote Gertrude Stein. |
