Radar from today's NOAA mission

In addition to radar from the land, here is radar from the air from the completed NOAA mission. I like when NOAA P-3's do the tasked recon so HC gets the radar data from the plane.
I wonder how many decades until 1 minute satellite imagery is common place over most storms, if not across the U.S. I guess it's just too much to handle to have a large area have the 1 minute imagery and send back before it needs to do it again. We'd need a lot more satellite or ones that are better equipped I guess. |
