Well the Euro has been all over the place, and up and down on intensity like a yo-yo. Before it was a depression, the Euro has been channeling the HWRF and GFS at times, from insane to saner. Despite the designation, the storm is still not too organized, so the models still may not have a good handle on things yet. The NHC is going with the low end partly in respect for the Euro but maybe partly because it really is too uncertain to go with anything higher yet until more is known. Plenty of time to make adjustments if/when it becomes better organized if/when shear relaxes.
