Growing more concerned about the Leeward Islands this morning as models trend further south and west. Irma may turn out to be a "fish" from a U.S. perspective but the possibility of s Cat 4 or even Cat 5 strike in the Leewards is feasible and worrisome. In the near term I am hoping to see Irma eventually nudge north of the islands. All depends on how strong the steering ridge becomes in the days ahead.
