FL winds still ~105 kts. Surface estimates appear barely cat 3 level. Pressure hasn't even fallen since mid afternoon. And even though the EWRC is complete, she still has this displaced wind max.



It exists so far on the NW side of the eye and early was evident in all quads. If this is some new attempt at an EWRC, or if it is a wind max that is removing energy from the core, Irma can pretty much kiss reintensification goodbye until she sorts it out. IF she sorts it out.
