GFS Shear and Dry Water Vapor Loop

The more I post here, the more I am humble about my ability to forecast a storm. So I try to leave it up to models. The GFS model may do for now:




Large storms like Irma may be a bit more protected from dry air ruining the core. But lately, I just leave it to the models, most of the time. In 2005 I would look at this water vapor loop before any other images to forecast a new storm:
