Call me a spoil sport

I thought this launch was phenomenal but for the life of me I don't get why a perfectly good (and expensive) automobile had to be included, to eventually become more space junk (doesn't matter if it's on a planet's surface or in orbit -- still junk.) . It just seems wasteful and stupid to me.
Am I the only one? Maybe someone can justify it because I sure can't seem to. Open to any thoughts, with thanks. |
