At the moment you can see tropical cyclone points on there ("Trop Pts" option), but at times the points have not been available.

One other thing I wanted to mention. Parts of Hawaii have some very high mountains. That could also impact the track, in addition to impacting the core of the storm. It's an added complexity to the forecast and since Iniki is probably the only other reference, models may not have much of a handle on what impact that might have in this part of the world. I don't know.
