The pressure is lower. Earlier pressure was 956mb based on recon. A NOAA buoy just measured 956mb and they went with 954mb for this update.

A NOAA observing site at Cape Lookout, North Carolina, recently recorded a sustained wind of 67 mph (114 km/h) and a gust to 79 mph (140 km/h). A Weatherflow station at Fort Macon, North Carolina, recently reported a sustained wind of 70 mph (113 km/h) and a wind gust of 92 mph (148 km/h).
A USGS gauge at New Bern, North Carolina, on the Neuse River is currently recording 10.1 feet of inundation. Another USGS gauge in Emerald Isle, North Carolina, recently recorded 5.3 feet of inundation.
A NOAA buoy at Onslow Bay recently reported a minimum pressure of 956 mb (28.23 mb). A NOAA buoy at Frying Pan Shoals recently reported a sustained wind of 62 mph (101 km/h) and a gust of 83 mph (133 km/h).
