Another Tampa specific item, September 2018 is our warmest month on record. Not simply for September, it's our warmest month ever recorded. We closed out the last two days of the month with 97 each day. 97 is the hottest temperature we've ever reached in September. That was set on Saturday and then Sunday we matched it. Tampa's all time record high temperature is 99, so being two degrees away in September is really unique. We've had a lot of records this month. One day we only had a low of 84, which was one degree off the all time record warm minimum temperature.
